Call for Papers

PDCA Education Committee makes calls for abstracts/presentations on a bi-annual basis as they are looking to cover topic areas at both of the PDCA Signature Events- Annual Conference and DICEP.

If you have an abstract you wish to share with the Education Committee for consideration please be sure it summarizes, usually in one paragraph of 300 words or less, the major aspects of the entire presentation in a prescribed sequence that should include:
1) the overall purpose of the study and the research problem(s) you investigated
2) the basic design of the study/job site reference
3) major findings or trends found as a result of your analysis or investigation
4) a brief summary of your interpretations and conclusions
5) any visual aids (maximum of 3) you feel will need to help express the depth of your presentation

The Education Committee intentionally makes the process for submitting abstracts as simple as possible to allow for both technical and non-technical presentors to have an opportunity in participating.  Once the deadline for submittal(s) passes, the Education Committee reviews and selects those presentations that best represent the conference theme.  Non-selected abstracts are kept on file with the PDCA for a full year and selected abstracts and presentations are used in magazine articles, member web access areas and much more within the PDCA and it's membership.
