PDCA 22nd Annual DICEP - COVID

update on dicep conference

Updated september 2, 2021

Dear PDCA Community:

Due to the hurricane that went through Louisiana last weekend and the reopening work needed in New Orleans, the DICEP Conference has been switched to a virtual event. We will host the presentations through the Zoom webinar platform. The virtual event will be held on September 15 17th between 1:00 5:00pm ET each day.

PDCA staff have reached out to attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors that were pre-registered for the DICEP Conference to be held in New Orleans, LA to discuss options regarding their registrations. Those individuals that would like to attend the virtual event will be automatically registered by PDCA staff.

If you were unsure of attending DICEP in person due to your work schedule, travel plans, or COVID concerns, the virtual webinar brings the education content without the other concerns. Registration for the virtual conference is available through the DICEP registration site, HERE. The attendee registration fee is $300 half of which will be donated to a NOLA Hurricane disaster relief fund. Information on the relief fund selected will be provided during the Virtual DICEP Conference, as well as details if you would like to make additional donation, either as an individual or company.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the PDCA office anytime.

All the Best,

Dear PDCA Community:

We sincerely hope that this note finds you, your family, friends, colleagues, and businesses safe from the ongoing health concerns related to the COVID-19 Disease. The safety of attendees, members, exhibitors, faculty, and staff is PDCA's number one concern.

The state of Louisiana has reinstated an indoor mask policy for everyone regardless of vaccination status. In accordance with this new mandate, the Marriott New Orleans has updated their policy to reflect the mask requirement. All guests will be required to wear a mask while indoors at the hotel venue.

Additionally, the city of New Orleans is also requiring proof of at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine or proof of a negative PCR test to eat at indoor restaurants or go to indoor bars. Information about these mandates and more can be found online at https://ready.nola.gov/incident/coronavirus/safe-reopening/.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the PDCA office anytime.

All the Best,

Frank, Kathy, Marian, and Matt
