PDCA invites you to attend the virtual Design & Installation of Cost-Efficient Piles (DICEP) Webinar event. This educational event will take place of the course of two weeks in September: Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 5:00pm ET (12:00 2:00pom PT). Utilizing the Zoom platform, attendees will be able to attend sessions, ask questions, and earn up to 8.0 hours of Professional Development Hours (PDHs).
The conference is primarily designed for general and sub-contractors; geotechnical, structural, and civil engineers; and other firms or individuals who conduct business, support or are associated with the deep foundations, earth retention and/ or the driven pile industry. Licensed PEs will earn 8.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) by attending this conference.

Ensuring the Durability of Sheet Piling Structures

Objectives:
1. Understand the factors that contribute to corrosion occurring and the rate that it develops. Various steps to control or inhibit corrosion will be outlined. A comparison will be made between the breakdown of steel and concrete over time. An example will be provided showing the various options open to the designer to inhibit or improve steel durability along with their associated costs.
