Pile Load Testing Options Course

The PDCA will present this one-day course on Thursday, August 21, 2014, in Sacramento, CA. The course will begin with a presentation by Van E. Komurka, P.E., D.GE, F.ASCE  of Wagner Komurka Geotechnical Group, Inc. titled: Driven Pile Test Programs - Paying Off with More Than Just Information, Van's presentation will discuss the benefits of a well-designed pile load test program, its cost-effectiveness and applications.  The course will also feature presentations on the various types of pile load testing methods, including Static, High Strain Dynamic and Rapid Load testing. These presentations will be followed by a Q & A to allow attendees to address all of the presenters at once. 
 
Who Should Attend:  Contractors, Engineering Design Consultants, Geotechnical Engineers and Structural Engineers, Suppliers of hammers and piles; as well as anyone responsible or involved in pile load test decisions.
