Ginny and Mat Jarvis from Dark Horse Metals LLC
Through an ongoing Cooperating Agreement, PDCA actively and enthusiastically supports Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) events. The organizations have developed a valuable relationship in the foundation construction industry.
Many PDCA members are also involved in DFI and further contribute to advancement of the driven pile through knowledge and networks built through forums made available by both organizations, such as conferences and other programs. The 2024 DFI Annual Conference brought hundreds of attendees, including many PDCA members to the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center near Denver, CO, October 7-10, 2024. In addition to an impressive curriculum of educational programming, the event also featured inspirational presentations, a 5K Fun Run, networking receptions, an exhibit hall, and more.
Many PDCA members were involved in various aspect of the 3-day event. Presentation Chairs who are active in DFI and PDCA hailed from member companies, such as BAUER Equipment America, Geokon, and Dan Brown and Associates. Presenters on subject matter sessions included representatives from John Lawrie Tubulars, Geoengineers, Geosciences Testing and Research, Terracon, Vortex Marine Construction, Giken Equipment, GRL Engineers, Inc., GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc., Keller, Pile Dynamics, Inc., and Geosyntec. Sponsoring companies included International Construction Equipment, CPS Houston, Liebherr, Pile Dynamics, Inc./GRL Engineers, Inc., American Piledriving Equipment, and BAUER Equipment America. Cajun Industries was a special honoree for a project award.
Many more members were exhibitors; scroll down to see photos of some of the PDCA member exhibit booths.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to successes in pile driving and the greater deep foundations industry.
