How it All Began: 2026 Conference Starts With Opening Reception
July 25, 2026
The reception gave longtime industry friends an opportunity to reconnect; there were plenty of first-time attendees, such as new member contractors, suppliers, engineers, and students who quickly established new industry relationships during the kick-off networking event.. The global conference theme was reflected throughout the venue with festive décor, sponsorship displays, and a large world map where attendees pinned business cards to locations of their pile driving projects. By week's end, the map was nearly covered, highlighting the remarkable worldwide reach of the driven pile industry. A prize drawing added a fun finish to the popular activity.

Helping Families When it Matters Most
July 24, 2026
PDCA members once again demonstrated the generous spirit of the driven pile industry by helping raise $10,000 for Construction Angels, a nonprofit that provides immediate financial assistance and grief support to the families of construction workers who lose their lives on the job. Thanks to member donations matched by PDCA up to $5,000, the association proudly presented Construction Angels Founder and CEO Kristi Ronyak with a $10,000 check during the Awards & Closing Ceremony at the 2026 PDCA Annual Conference.
Following the event, Ronyak shared her appreciation on social media, calling the conference "one of the most memorable conferences we've ever attended." She added that Construction Angels was "embraced with open arms" by PDCA members, staff, attendees, and leadership, and praised the association's outreach efforts that ensured attendees were already familiar with the organization's mission. PDCA is grateful to everyone who helped make a meaningful difference for construction families in need.
