On February 19, 2026, PDCA brought the driven pile community together in a big way at the Buckeye State Blitz Networking Reception -- and Northeast Ohio showed up strong. Hosted at Wild Eagle Steak & Saloon in suburban Cleveland, the FREE reception attracted around 45 attendees from across the regional driven pile industry. Contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, civil engineers, and representatives from labor, USACE, DOT, and academia all gathered for an evening focused on connection, collaboration, and conversation. Best of all? PDCA membership was not required -- just an interest in strengthening the driven pile community.
The atmosphere was relaxed and energetic. With great food and drinks enabled by the generous support of sponsors and provided by PDCA, attendees had the chance to reconnect with longtime colleagues, meet new industry partners, and learn more about how PDCA is working to grow and strengthen its presence in Ohio and the surrounding region. A short program highlighted participation opportunities in the only organization exclusively advocating for the driven pile industry, as well as encouragement to those assembled, to consider helping grow PDCA through formation of a regional Chapter.
The event was made possible thanks to sponsors. Serving as the "Workin' Overtime" sponsor was American Equipment and Fabricating, Corp. Supporting as "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" sponsors were American Piledriving Equipment, International Construction Equipment, Jinnings Equipment, Kokosing, The Ruhlin Company, and the PDCA South Carolina Chapter. All sponsors were recognized in event materials and onsite signage.
The Buckeye State Blitz proved once again that when the driven pile community gets together, good things happen. PDCA looks forward to building on this momentum and continuing to grow relationships throughout the Buckeye State.
