As 2024 Comes to a close, PDCA Chapters prepare for the new year

The volunteers who ensure local PDCA engagement is regularly available through Chapter participation are planning events in different parts of the country to thank their members and organize leadership teams for 2025. This will secure a continuation of events such as scholarship programs, educational offerings, clay shoots, golf outings, networking dinners and happy hours, and a popular oyster roast. If you are a member of one of the PDCA Chapters, or are considering joining next year, attend one or more of the November PDCA Chapter events. It will be a great time to thank the individuals who donate their time off to provide critical support and advocacy for the advancement of the driven pile.

Nov. 6: 6-9 PM in Newark, NJ	Join the PDCA Northeast Chapter for another Casino Night and Dinner Meeting, this time at Don Pepe Restaurant in Newark, NJ (844 McCarter Highway). The evening will include a networking happy hour, a plated dinner, a technical presentation from Martin Terwilliger of GeoQuip, Inc., and almost real gaming. Attendees receive raffle tickets and prize drawings will take place throughout the night. REGISTER HERE
Nov. 12: 5-8 PM in Houston, TX	The PDCA Texas Chapter invites you to head over to Spindletap Brewery in Houston (10622 Hirsch Rd.) to participate as a candidate, voter, or enthusiastic networker. The growing organization is electing a new Secretary and Treasurer to serve 2025-2026, as well as volunteers to serve in the newly-created offices of Planning Committee Director and Scholarship Committee Director. Nov. 14: 6:30-9:30 PM Charleston, SC	Watch the PDCA South Carolina Chapter award the annual Nigels Scholarship to a Citadel Cadet who has demonstrated proficiency and leadership as an engineering student. Networking, dinner, election of 2025 officers and a technical program from Louis Nash of Nucor Skyline round out the evening at the Town & Country Inn and Suites. And make sure to plan on attending the Chapter's Oyster Roast on Jan. 17, 2025. REGISTER HERE
Nov. 22: 8 AM -3 PM Hesser, LA	Practice hunting for your Thanksgiving turkey along with members of the PDCA Gulf Coast Chapter as they gather for the popular Sporting Clays event at Covey Rise Lodge. It's a team shooting competition, and individuals will also be recognized for their marksmanship. Breakfast, lunch and awards are part of the program.
