For students across the Western U.S. who are planning their next step after high school--or already working toward a degree--the rising cost of education is a very real concern. That's where the PDCA Pacific Coast Chapter is stepping in to help make a difference.
Each year, the Chapter awards scholarships to students pursuing careers connected to the construction industry, with a special emphasis on fields like construction management, engineering, occupational safety, and accounting. Whether a student is headed to a university, technical college, or vocational program, this opportunity is designed to support those building a future in the industry.
What makes this program especially meaningful is how it's funded. Proceeds from the Chapter's annual April Scholarship Shoot in Birds Landing, CA--made possible by generous participants and supporters--are reinvested directly into the next generation of construction professionals.
For the 2026 academic year, selected recipients will receive a $2,000 scholarship, with applications due by July 1 and awards announced in August.
If you know a student with an interest in deep foundation construction, now is the time to share this opportunity and encourage them to apply. Click the button below to obtain the application form, which also lists program rules and instructions.
