Scenes From the Northeast Chapter, 7th Annual Sporting Clays

The 2022 edition of the PDCA Northeast Chapter Sporting Clays event is in the books, and the winner of the 'Sun's Out, Guns Out' Award went to Danielle Chiolo of Nucor Skyline! No, this was not an actual award at the July 22nd outing which took place at Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay, PA, however Danielle did earn hardware as Best Female Shooter, as presented by Matt Scerbak, Chapter Promotions Officer and representative from Associated Pile and Fitting.

Several dozen marksmen and women from throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and beyond participated in the seventh annual event that featured food, fellowship and competitive shooting on one of the region's most unique courses. Teams of four followed the trail through various shooting stations and kept score on their performance at each. At the end of the competition, participants gathered for networking, lunch and refreshments and applauded various award winners from the day. (A full list was not yet available at the time this was published.)

The PDCA Northeast Chapter thanks all food and shooting station sponsors for their generosity and all participants for making the trek to the rural hamlet just north of Philadelphia for the clay shooting adventure. The Chapter invites you to consider competing in this event next year, watch PDCA for future announcements.
