Richard Morales from Bull Moose Tube will present a webinar on steel piling on August 14th
Do you need to obtain Professional Development Hours (PDH) to maintain your certification? PDCA offers a virtual learning program that is available to all employees at PDCA Member companies, at no cost. The programming is also available to non-members of PDCA, which includes a nominal, per-program registration fee. The Value Driven Webinar Series takes place on the second Thursday, every other month.
The first installment for the 2025 Webinar Series is happening on April 10th at 2:00 PM EDT. On that afternoon, attendees will hear the program entitled Considerations for Testing - Making the Most of Load Test Programs by Ryan Allin, PE, Vice President at Pile Dynamics, Inc. During this webinar, Mr. Allin will explain the value that load testing programs can provide to your project. Conversely, he will also outline their limitations. Additionally, the program will feature a case study depicting the optimization of the foundation and the cost savings for one project which involved load testing. Those who complete the one-hour program are eligible to receive 1-hour PDH.
Subsequent programs are also available in 2025, including one on June 12th. More information about that webinar is coming soon. Then, on August 14th, Richard Morales, M.Sc., PE, F.ASCE, the manager of field applications engineering at Bull Moose Tube will present Steel Pipe Pile ERW Specifications: Challenges, Advantages and Solutions. On October 9th, Lina Martin, PE, BDM at Orion will present the case study for the award-winning project, Port Everglades Southport Turning Notch Expansion, and on December 11th, there will be an industry safety program available through the Value Driven Webinar Series.
