The Texas A&M / ASCE 2022 Buchanan Lecture

The 30th Buchanan Lecture will be at 2 pm on 14 Oct 2022 at the College Station Hilton. The Buchanan Lecturer will be Mark Buchanan, President of the Structural Integrity Group and grandson of Spencer Buchanan after whom the lecture is named. His topic is "Risk Mitigation in the Changing Relationship between Contractors and Engineers." Also featured will be a repeat of Professor Greg Baecher 2021 Terzaghi Lecture "Geotechnical Systems, Uncertainty and Risk". More details at https://briaud.engr.tamu.edu/buchananlecture/. Note that this year Buchanan Lecture is in person only. A reception will take place at the Briaud's house after the lecture.
